TOUR DETAILS 

​

17th AUGUST  : Arrival and visit of the city of Marrakech - 10 km. Transfer from Marrakech Menara airport and accommodation Riad ( hotel ) in the Medina of Marrakech, with half board HB (dinner + breakfast). A brief explanation of our trip that begins with a visit to the historic city of Marrakech with it's greater interests :  the old part of the city with its Medina, its main historic buildings, the Medersa Alì Ben Youssef,  El-Badi Palace, the covered souk where we can admire every form of craftsmanship, textiles, wrought iron, wool coloring, woodworking, leather, ceramics and silver. Visit to the famous Djemaa el-Fna Square, open-air stage where they are held at any time of the day small entertainment and various curiosities, visit  to the Blue Gardens of Majorelle, a small oasis of plants cultivated with extreme care, inside gardens you can also visiting the permanent museum of Berber culture. Overnight  in Riad  at Marrakech with half board HB (dinner + breakfast)

18th AUGUST  :  Ouarzazate through the kasbah of Telouet and La kasbah d’Ait Ben Haddou - 190 km. After our breakfast, departure to OUARZAZATE. After leaving the romantic red city behind, we enter the mountains of the high pass TIZIN 'TICHKA  ( 2260 M ) which offers us breathtaking breathtaking views. Between a hairpin bend and some rare village perched on the slopes, we meet a narrow deviation of about 20 km that leads us to the village of TELOUET located in a basin surrounded by the mountains of the Great Atlas, lush with vegetation and delicious views. This site owes its fame to the ancient and splendid Kasbah, residence of the pasha el Glaoui. Near the village there are the salt mines. Continue our trip beyond the great Atlas chain and arrive at the village of Ait Ben Haddou. Visit the delightful KASBAH of Ait Ben Haddou climbing on the mountain, which owes its international fame to the numerous film sets housed within it. Overnight at Riad in Ouarzazate with half board HB. (dinner + breakfast)

 

19th AUGUST : Dunes of Erg-Chebbi through TODRA Gorges's and the valley of the DADES - 360 km.  We continue our journey towards the valley of roses and then reach the valley of DADES and the Canyons of  TODRA. Visit to the  famous women's cooperative that produces water-based products of the rose in the city of M'Gouna (the Damaskina rose). We can also make stop to visit one of the  ancient water supply system used for water irrigation in the desert. Arrival in Merzouga At 5.30 pm, just before sunset and we prepare to cross the dunes of Erg-Chebbi, this time on a camel's ride, we will be welcomed in the evening by a nomad family to share their culture and their tradition. Overnight in private tent in Merzouga with half board HB. (dinner breakfast).

20th AUGUST : Full Day trip in Merzouga - 00 km. Day reserved to admire the numerous desert villages, among these, the village of Khamlia known for the Gnawa music festival which takes place at the end of August, the village of Hasi-el-bied and the natural lakes of Merzouga ( Dait Tiffart  ), the Erg-Chebbi dune tour lasting about 03 hours. Overnight in private tent in Merzouga with half board HB. (dinner breakfast).

21th AUGUST : N'kobe village through v Alnife and Rissni - 240 km. Possibility to wake up at dawn to see the rising sun. Departure towards the Draà valley through the oasis of Tafilalet. Visit of the ancient history city, RISSANI with its famous mausoleum of MOULAY ALI  CHERIF, the numerous Kasbaah that characterize and give a particular charm to the town that had a glorious past as an important center of trade, particularly in the archaeological site of SIJILMASSA, theater of markets where caravans from all over Africa used to arrive in ancient times. Today, lunch at Rissani with a Moroccan pizza with mint tea is included. Overnight in Kasbah at the village of N'Kobe with half board HB. (dinner + breakfast)

22th AUGUST : Return to Marrakech through the Draà valley - 310 km. After our breakfast, departure for OUARZAZATE throuth  the Draà valley. Visit the village of AGDEZ and the pretty Kasbah TAMGHOULT, the valley of Ait Saoin, a beautiful valley of magnetic rocks, located in the heart of the Jebel-Saghro chain. Overnight stay in Riad in Marrakech with half board HB (dinner + breakfast).

23th AUGUST :  Day trip excursion to  Essaouira - 340 Km. After our breakfast departure towards Essaouira "Unesco Heritage", through  Chechaouia city, a journey of about 02 half hours, with a stop in Ounagha 30 km before arriving at our destination, the area well known for its production of Argan oil. We stop for a short stop to visit one of the famous women's cooperatives that work and package products based on this expensive "Argan" fruit. We continue our journey towards the Atlantic coast of Morocco. Arrival in Essaouira visit to the Median with its famous main doors: Bab Doukala, Bab Marrakech, Bab Essaouira, visit to the port of Essaouira, once considered one of the most active ports in all of Africa. At 16:30 departure for return to Marrakech. Overnight in a Riad in Marrakech with B&B breakfast only. (Bed & Breakfast).

24th AUGUST  :  Transfer to Marrakech airport - 10 Km. Transfer to the airport of Marrakech, with the hope of having offered you a journey full of unforgettable emotions and memories, we greet you and thank you for the trust you have given us. (end of service)
